COLLEGE TIME-LINE FOR SENIORS
SEPTEMBER
 -Request college application from 3 to 5 schools.
-Register to retake the ACT and SAT.
-Ask teachers and counselors for letters of recommendation.
-Attend the College Fair in your area: Norfolk, Tri-State @ Marina Inn South Sioux City
OCTOBER
 -Visit colleges that interest you. The College Prep Handbook has great questions to ask.
-Request scholarship information from your guidance counselor.
-Talk to college reps visiting your school throughout the year.
-Retake the ACT and SAT and try to improve your score.
-Submit admission applications to colleges with Early Admission Programs.
-Attend your area College Fairs in Norfolk and South Sioux City.
NOVEMBER/
DECEMBER
 -Submit college admissions and scholarship applications.
-Attend your school's financial aid program.
JANUARY
 -Complete income tax returns (parent and student).
-Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) before March 1.
