Coleridge Speech team wins Runner-Up trophy at Clark Conference!!

Members of the Coleridge Speech team brought home the runner-up trophy Saturday after claiming two Gold medals, three silver medals, a third place and one fourth place medal in the final rounds.

Emily Kalin won a gold medal in Poetry and a silver in Serious Prose. Seth Schroeder and Michael Dendinger won a gold medal in Duet Acting. Seth Schroeder also won a silver medal in Humorous Prose. Alex Brodersen won a silver medal in Extemporaneous speaking and a third place medal in Entertainment. Craig Colwell won a fourth place medal in Persuasive.

Overall, the Bulldogs earned 23 superior ratings and one excellent rating.

The meet was won by Hartington who earned 99 points at the meet. The Coleridge team earned 75 points and Bloomfield placed third at the meet with 66 points. Other team places included Wausa, 61 pts; Osmond, 51 pts; Winside, 47 pts; Newcastle, 21 pts; and Wynot, 17 pts.
